Back to the void

Regret should be funny, not hostile

Refund Policy

You knowingly bought a digital joke—but billing errors and genuine mistakes can still happen. We keep the request process simple and review it like adults.

Plain language, on purposeLast updated August 2, 2026

No maze. No retention dungeon.

Send one request through the contact form with the email used for payment and your regret or purchase number. Never send full card details. We will review the payment and explain the outcome.

1. The starting point

Void sells an immediately delivered digital entertainment experience, including a badge, certificate, regret card, and celebration. The checkout makes this clear before payment. A change of heart after receiving and using those items may not always qualify for a refund.

That does not erase your legal rights, and it does not mean we ignore genuine errors. We consider reasonable requests fairly, especially in the situations below.

2. When you should contact us

  • You were charged more than once for the same intended purchase.
  • The amount charged differs from the amount confirmed at checkout.
  • The payment succeeded but the promised digital items remain unavailable after reasonable troubleshooting.
  • You did not authorize the transaction.
  • A technical failure produced an unintended purchase.
  • Applicable consumer law gives you a cancellation or refund right.
  • There is another genuine circumstance you would like us to consider.

3. How to request a refund

Use the contact form, select “Refund or payment,” and include:

  • The email address used for the purchase.
  • Your purchase, regret, or payment reference number.
  • The date and amount.
  • A brief explanation of what happened.

Do not send a full card number, bank password, security code, or government ID in the form. We may request limited additional information through an appropriate verification process if needed.

4. How review works

We check the transaction, delivery status, previous refund activity, and the reason supplied. We may need to confirm that the requester is the purchaser. Fraudulent, abusive, or materially misleading requests may be declined.

We will provide a clear response rather than hiding the decision behind a fake countdown, a twelve-step cancellation ritual, or an emotional support chatbot.

5. If a refund is approved

Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method. Your bank or payment provider controls how long the credit takes to appear. A fully refunded purchase may be removed from eligible public totals, leaderboards, badge progress, and recent activity to keep verified statistics accurate.

A partial refund may reduce eligible totals by the refunded amount. Historical transaction records may remain where needed for accounting, fraud prevention, disputes, or law.

6. Unauthorized charges and chargebacks

If you believe a payment method was used without permission, contact your bank or payment provider promptly and tell us through the contact form. We will cooperate with legitimate investigations. Starting a chargeback does not prevent you from contacting us, but the provider’s dispute process may control the outcome while it is open.

7. Your legal rights remain intact

Nothing in this Policy removes refund, cancellation, warranty, or other consumer rights that cannot legally be waived where you live. Where this Policy conflicts with a mandatory legal right, that right controls.

The final honest sentence

We promise almost nothing, but we do promise not to make a legitimate payment problem intentionally difficult to report.
