The useful summary
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use Void, we may collect:
- Account information: email address, authentication details, and account status.
- Profile information: display name, avatar, bio, country, and public/private preferences.
- Purchase information: amount, currency, package, transaction status, provider reference, date, and refund status. We do not receive or store your full card number.
- Activity information: badges, downloads, privacy choices, reports, and basic interactions with the Service.
- Technical information: IP address, device/browser information, logs, and security signals needed to operate and protect the Service.
- Messages: information you submit through support, refund, privacy, or abuse-reporting forms.
2. Why we use it
- Process one-time payments and confirm whether they succeeded.
- Deliver badges, certificates, regret cards, profiles, and dashboards.
- Calculate verified totals, milestones, and leaderboard positions.
- Apply your named, anonymous, public, and private choices.
- Respond to support, refunds, data requests, and content reports.
- Detect fraud, prevent abuse, debug failures, and secure the Service.
- Meet accounting, tax, dispute, and other legal obligations.
- Understand aggregate usage and improve the experience.
3. What becomes public
You control whether your profile is public and how each eligible purchase is shown. Public named activity may display your chosen name, avatar, amount, badge, purchase count, rank, date, and message. Public anonymous activity uses “Anonymous Genius” and does not link to your identity. Private purchases do not appear in the public feed or on a public purchase page.
Anonymous is not invisible
If you download or share a certificate or regret card yourself, anyone you send it to may save or repost it. Review the card before releasing it into the group chat ecosystem.
5. How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above. Account data generally remains while your account is active. Purchase and payment records may be kept longer for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, disputes, chargebacks, or legal requirements. Support and security records are retained for an appropriate period based on their purpose.
When deletion is appropriate, we delete or de-identify the information. Backups may retain protected copies for a limited period before routine deletion.
6. Your privacy choices
- Update profile information and default visibility in Settings.
- Choose named, anonymous, or private treatment when purchasing.
- Download a copy of your account data.
- Request account deletion and de-identification of public activity.
- Ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing where local law provides those rights.
Submit a request through Contact. We may need to verify your identity before acting, because giving a stranger your data would be significantly worse than selling them nothing.
7. Security and cookies
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can promise perfect security, so use a unique password and protect private access links.
The Service may use necessary cookies or similar storage for sign-in, security, payment flow, and preferences. If optional analytics are used, they should be presented and controlled as required by applicable law.
8. Children’s privacy
Void is not directed to children who cannot legally consent to online data processing or purchases where they live. If you believe a child has provided personal information improperly, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy when our practices or legal obligations change. The current version and update date will remain on this page, with an additional notice for material changes where appropriate.
Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent through our contact form.
